Der Lindenbaum

Ellen and I took a daytrip to Fredericksburg today. We assumed we'd find a decent German restaurant somewhere in the town, but the first two places we tried had over an hour wait! We decided that was just stupid and we'd go looking for a faster place, even if it wasn't as popular.
I don't know what the secret is to finding a good meal in F-burg, because we were sure we'd given up and compromised, but this place was incredible. Fantastic with an emphasis on the tast. Err, taste. Whatever, you get the point.
Ellen had the Rinderbraten (roast beef in a bell pepper and red wine sauce), and I had a Jaƫgerschnitzel (fried pork covered in mushrooms and sauce). Definitely our favorite meal of the week, until the next day.
